Halloween costume or corporate wardrobe?

I'm one of a million corporate cogs, in yet another corporate machine.
It's common place in the corporate world, for everything to be monitored- including our attire.
Corporate wear is non negotiable, heels and stockings a must!

I've always struggled to understands why corporate clothing for women is considered "professional" while laterally being overtly sexual. (oops I forgot women = sex)
The corporate wear for women, is simply the "sexy costume" version of the default humans (men)

Do I need to elaborate? 

Although we now can enter some particular, previously male dominated roles within the work force, we are required to dress like sexbots in order to do so.

The hobbling heels, skirts with that dreaded slit in the back. Tailored jackets, show off that waist, exaggerate the differences. Stockings that cost a fortune and last an hour before the horrid nightmare ladder creeps up our leg (never mind ladies, grab some clear nail polish, dab and voila! What, you don't carry nail polish in your tote bag???!!!)

So you better hold your horses before getting stuck into some serious paper pushing, and put on these here pumps. Oh and don't forget a separate carry bag for your second pair of comfortable shoes that you'll be required to take with you to work. I mean, how else are you going to walk to the station when you finish your shift. It's a matter of survival!
